We were asked to update the entire entertainment system in a highly renovated 1930’s oceanfront home. The property has a separate guest house and a courtyard pool and our client wanted to have full control of all of the property’s systems from one interface. We were also tasked with making the technology blend as seamlessly as possible into the home’s elegant design. We installed a Savant control and music system throughout eight audio zones and a full surround sound system integrating a new 8K frameless TV into a lift that raises the TV out of the floor. We used Monitor Audio Platinum In wall speakers and an Acurus Home Theater system. All of the electronics were hidden in a custom rack in a space under the stairs.
With the new system, scenes can be created by the client to instantly recall particular settings for the TV, house audio system, automated lighting and motorized shades. Either on a schedule or with the press of a button, all of the systems can be launched with ease.
